Superior Dive Sosua has returned and is giving its clients the best scuba diving that Sosua / Cabarete Dominican Republic has to offer. The doors have been open for the last few weeks and we have had a steady flow of divers coming to join us. With a nice mix of certified divers and PADI Courses.
It has been fantastic to see some familiar faces, ex students & friends as well as new dive buddies joining us for some great Sosua diving. We can not thank you all enough for your support. Diving conditions have been great with the ocean flat like a lake & incredible visibility. Check out our facebook & instagram pages for regular photos & updates, Superior Dive Sosua.
We have had regular sightings of turtles, seahorses & we even came across a super looking nurse shark right here in Sosua Bay. The marine life seems to be flourishing with more & more parrot fish returning to the area since a ban was enforced by the Dominican Government to neither fish them or serve them in restaurants. Parrot fish are an essential part to a reef systems. They have unique teeth that scrape algae off corals which they digest then expel through their digestive system creating fine white sand.
Long may the ban remain! Superior DIve Sosua along with all the other local dive schools recently signed a petition created by Bill Passmore which in fact asked for the ban to be extended indefinitely, great news.
Another short blog is in the pipeline which will include some exciting partnerships that Superior Dive Sosua & two other local businesses have formed. Casa de Compai in Sosua & Big Willy’s Kite School in Cabarete.
Come & dive with Superior Dive Sosua & let us get you wet all over!!!
