The Scuba Diving in Sosua Bay here on the beautiful North Coast of the Dominican Republic might not be world renowned but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t great. What we have is nice, easy pretty diving just a short boat ride away from the beach. We regularly have encounters with turtles & seahorses as well as abundance of other marine life that you’d normally find in an aquarium. There is little to no tide change & the tranquil calm waters are pretty much free of currents. We have a small but highly experienced & dedicated team of dive professionals. Dive Center owner Luke Charles-Short is responsible for conducting the majority of courses & has over 10 years of teaching experience right here in Sosua Bay. Alejandro “Aquaman” Diaz is a PADI Assistant Instructor & knows these waters like the back of his hand having worked at Northern Coast Diving for 25 years before joining us. Rosanna is Luke’s better half & the person that keeps the dive base running smoothly.
